Our first dance of the year is coming up in the school gym.

Limited tickets for October 20th's GLO Party Dance area are available via your account. You can also buy tickets in person at the school on Friday (14th) morning (outside the library) or Tuesday (18th) after-school (by the bike racks near the basketball court).

Tickets are $5 per person for a 5pm or 6:30 entry (times are a guideline). The earlier time slot is suitable for younger students (quieter music, brighter lights).

Please check the volunteer box if you can help us out!

The PAC is keeping it simple for this first event with light snacks only (free popcorn and chips). There will not be any drinks; please bring water bottles or use the water fountain available.

Please note that this is not a school event and parent or guardian supervision is required for all children attending.

Dance FAQ:

Q: If I purchase online, will I get a hard-copy ticket?
A: No. We will have a list at the door of everyone who purchased online (saving paper!)

Q: Will there be tickets at the door?
A: Yes. If space allows. Due to fire regulations, we have capped online and in-person ticket sales for each time block (5pm and 6:30pm) so that those who show up at the door should be able to get in.

Q: Is there any assistance for families who may need help purchasing tickets for their whole family?
A: Yes. As with all PAC-supported events (hot lunch, field trips, dances), finances should not be a barrier to participation. For confidentiality, please contact the principal who will arrange for a ticket/lunch/etc.

Q: Will there be food or drinks for sale?
A: No. We are going to keep things simple (and the custodians and volunteers happy) with no drinks (there is a water fountain!) and some free popcorn and chips.

Q: What should I bring?

A: Nothing! Just yourselves. We will provide glow sticks and snacks. You provide the dance moves!

Monthly Events ---- NEXT PAC MEETING IS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 19th -------

PAC Meetings happen on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 7-8:15pm. Meetings are held in the school library and all parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. Each month there will be an update and from our school leadership and discussion on topics relevant to you and your children. PAC Meetings are opportunities to get to know other parents, learn about what is happening at the school and have a say in the direction the PAC takes. We often have parent education speakers come in and talk to us about topics that are relevant to you. Our meetings are neither scary nor stuffy. We're just like you. So come out and see what it's all about. We look forward to meeting you!

Scheduled throughout the year

Parent Education Sessions by qualified and reputable speakers are scheduled throughout the school year. Subscribe to our mailing list (scroll to the bottom) to receive updates.
